Wash and dry your hands
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water, then dry them completely before testing.

Insert the test strip
Insert a new lactate test strip into the meter and wait until the meter is ready.

Collect the blood sample
Load a fresh lancet into the lancing device and prick the side of your fingertip to obtain a small drop of blood.

Apply blood to the strip
Gently touch the blood drop to the strip’s sample area until it fills properly.

Wait about 5 seconds and read the lactate result on the LCD screen.

Dispose of used items
Remove and safely discard the used test strip and lancet. The meter saves the result automatically.
