Insert batteries
Insert 2 AAA batteries into the rear battery compartment, ensuring the correct polarity.

Power on
Press the Measure button to switch on the thermometer.

Select mode
Press the SET button once to choose either Body Temperature Mode or Surface Temperature Mode.

Position the thermometer
Hold the thermometer 2–5 cm away from the forehead or target surface without making contact.

Press the Measure button once and wait a few seconds for the reading to appear on the LCD.

Read the result
Check the display: Green indicates normal temperature, Yellow indicates an elevated temperature, and Red indicates a high temperature or fever.

Review stored readings
Press the + or − button to browse the saved readings from M1 to M32.

Adjust settings
Press and hold the SET button to open the settings menu, then use F1 to set the fever limit in °C, F2 to set the fever limit in °F, F3 to switch between °C/°F, and F4 to turn the audio on or off.

Auto shut-off
The thermometer automatically switches off after about 15 seconds of inactivity.
- When you suspect a fever, such as flushed skin, chills, or a baby who is fussy or unwell.
- During illness, check 2–3 times a day, or as your doctor advises.
- Whenever you want a quick, no-contact check: at night, at school or in the office.
- Use Body mode only for forehead readings, and Surface mode for milk, bath water, food and room checks.
- Before measuring, make sure the forehead is clean, dry and free from sweat, hair or cosmetics for an accurate reading.
- Wait about 15–30 minutes after exercise, a bath or coming in from hot or cold weather.
- Use it long term for home health monitoring, or in clinics and healthcare settings as needed.
- Ensure the forehead is clean and dry before measuring, avoid taking readings immediately after exercise, bathing, or exposure to extreme temperatures, and store the thermometer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, dust, and moisture.
