Power on
Insert AAA batteries (not included) and press the button to switch on the thermometer.

Select the mode
Long-press the button for about 5 seconds while the thermometer is on to choose Body Mode or Object Mode.

Change the temperature unit
With the thermometer switched off, long-press the button for about 5 seconds to switch between °C and °F.

Prepare the measurement area
Ensure the forehead or target surface is clean and free from sweat, hair or dirt.

Position the thermometer
Hold the thermometer 3–5 cm away from the forehead or target surface without touching it.

Press the button once and wait about 1 second for the reading and beep.

Read the result
Check the temperature on the LED display and refer to the colour indicator: Green – Normal, Yellow – Mild elevation, Red – High temperature.
