Insert batteries
Open the battery compartment and insert 2 AAA batteries.

Press the Measurement button to switch on the thermometer.

Short press the M button to choose Body or Surface mode.

Hold the thermometer 3–5 cm away from the forehead or target surface without touching it.

Short press the Measurement button once to measure the temperature.

Check the temperature reading and the backlight colour on the LCD screen.

Review stored readings
Press the “+” button to open saved readings, then use “+” and “−” to scroll through them.

Finish use
Leave the thermometer idle and it will switch off automatically after about 30 seconds.
