Login / RegisterTynor Mallet Finger Splint is a very simple device, to maintain the distal interphalangeal (DIP) joint in the dorsi flexion position or functional ovo88 slot position. The immobilization of these phalanges is important in managing the fractures, or disfunctionality of the DIP joint.
Bend the splint to achieve the required degree of dorsi flexion. Place the splint so that the DIP joint of the finger comes below the hook loop tape. Slowly tighten to achieve the required degree of dorsi flexion of the Dip joint.
Can be cut or bent to suit the individual patient needs.
